Broad Street Training Program
On Sunday, May 4, 2008, the 29th Broad Street Run will take place! This 10 mile run has traditionally been the beginning of the local road running season. It also has been the starting point for new runners looking for a challenge and as a preparation for races in the rest of the year.
This year, the Ambler Area Running Club will run a special nine-week training program for interested club members to help you prepare for Broad Street or just get ready for outdoor running again after a Winter break. The training program will meet the needs of beginner and intermediate runners. We will use our usual Tuesday and Thursday night fun runs and follow a progressive training plan to prepare you for Broad Street or achieve your Spring running start-up goals If you're interested, e-mail Joe here I'll send you more information and I'll be glad to answer any questions! The first training workout will be held Tuesday, March 4 at the the North Wales Running Co. (6:30 start). This is a new program for AARC! We want to meet your running and fitness needs, and we know you'll find this helpful and fun! Beginner Training Program: Click Here Intermediate Training Program: Click Here |
