The
Quaker School at Horsham ("TQS") provides specialized programs
for students whose learning differences make education in a more typical
school environment difficult or impossible. TQS helps these children reach
their potential, and does so within a framework that nurtures,
honors, and celebrates the unique strengths of each individual,
bringing out the
positive and creative aspects of these children, and
changing
the lives of the entire family.
A parent originally established the Maggie Fine Fund to help an individual child remain at the school. The school soon discovered many other children who truly need the school but face similar financial obstacles. The goal of the Maggie Fine Fund is to raise sufficient funds to help all these children enroll or remain at TQS for as long as they need. A recent matching grant from the Steven C. Leuthold Foundation will double the value of every donation to the Maggie Fine Fund. |
