PDR and GEER!

Team Leader Tom (and third place age-group winner) says,

"Congrats to all our PDR Team members. AARC achieved very respectable results against tough competition.
Our Gold Mixed team was 9th out of 25 Teams in a very tough division. The Blue Masters Men were 4th in their division, edged out of the money by Born to Run (why isn't Ira running for AARC?). If there were a 50+ team, the Blue team would have been an easy winner! The Green Masters Men team competed well, despite some adversity, and came in 8th.  Our flamboyant Pink Masters Women were a strong 3rd in their division, probably in the money again (as at Broad St.), and were also named Best Dressed Team.
I hope everyone had a worthwhile experience - whether it was satisfaction or "I'll know better next time."
Let's do it again next year!

Also noteworthy:

TERMINATOR TONY places third in his age group at the PDR and 7 days later places first in his age group at the Great Eastern Endurance Run 100K (62 miles).  Tony says:

"This trail race was very rough and rocky in some section of the course. I was happy that I made in one piece without major injuries. I didn't realize that this course was that tough. Anyway, I'm happy and ready to work."

Note:  Tony was observed the very next day out on the trail "just stretching my legs."  Someone buy the man a couch!
