Run, Read & Rockathon for "Tomorrow's Runners"

Jackie is one of our AARC Fun Runners (who has also fared well in local races), and is a teacher at Stackpole Elementary School in Upper Southampton.  Jackie ran a program for 2nd and 3rd grade students to inspire them to read as if they were in a race, and called it the "Run, Read, and Rock-athon."
To make it even more "Marathon-like" for the children, Jackie got race bib/numbers from the Ambler Area Running Club, and distributed them to the "read-a-thon" children who participated.  The event was a huge success, and the notes from the children, some of which are shown below, express their enthusiasm for the event more eloquently than anything we could write...

In case you can't read the caption, the runner/reader (# 570) is saying "It is cold."

Clearly, a future Fun Runner in the making.
