THE READING CONNECTION

The Ambler Area Running Club (AARC) invites local residents and businesses to support and participate in our two annual races: Phil's Tavern 5K and the Frostbite 5 Miler. Contributions from sponsors are used to defray costs of the run and to assist AARC in its activities within the community. The rest of your contribution will go to the designated beneficiaries for the race.

In addition to helping worthwhile organizations that support and benefit the well-being of our community, your sponsorship will be publicized throughout the area in many ways beyond the race itself (see the Sponsor Benefits below). And of course, your contribution and participation will be recognized and appreciated by hundreds of runners, their families, and friends in the community.

Sponsors interested in supporting the race may do so in several ways:

With a monetary contribution (payable to AARC);
With a service to benefit the run;
With awards or prizes for the competition;
With water or food for during and after the race.

AARC is a tax-exempt organization; therefore, your donation can be used as a tax deductible contribution for the current tax year.

Gold Level Sponsorship:
Gold Race Sponsors are those that contribute cash at the below amounts OR who contribute an equivalent value in goods and services that are essential to the race operations (as determined by our Race Director)
$500	Annual Sponsor: sponsorship benefits for both our Frostbite 5 Miler AND Phils Tavern 5K
$300	Single Race Sponsor: sponsorship benefits for either our Frostbite 5 Miler OR Phils Tavern 5k
Benefits of Sponsorship	1. Company Logo on Race Shirts – see your name running all over town for months and years to come (hundreds of shirts per race!) 2. Opportunity to include your promotional materials in Race Packets (number of runners varies with races - usually hundreds) 3. Invitation to attend the races and set up info table/promote your goods and services to our participants (hundreds of runners, families, and friends) 4. Listing on Race Application, which is distributed to thousands of area runners 5. Web site link and acknowledgement on our web site 6. Inclusion in club’s communications – distributed to AARC members and other local runners 7. Acknowledgement in event advertising, on race day, and in post-race press releases.
Silver Level Sponsorship:
Silver Level Sponsors are those who donate any value of cash, goods or services below the Gold Race Sponsor amounts. We welcome contributions of any amount, including personal sponsorships from individuals who wish to support our club and our beneficiary charities.
Benefits of Sponsorship	1. Listing on Race Application distributed to Thousands of Area Runners 2. Web site link and acknowledgement on our web site 3. Inclusion in club’s communications – distributed to AARC members and other local runners 4. Acknowledgement in event advertising, on race day, and in post-race press releases. 5. Silver Race Sponsors may also elect to have their print material included in our race packets for $100 per race. 6. Silver Race Sponsors may also elect to attend a race and set up info table/promote their goods and services to our participants (hundreds of runners, families, and friends) for $100 per race.
Other Sponsorship Opportunities:
SLEEVE Sponsor	An existing Gold Race Sponsor can have their logo/name/website etc printed on one of the long sleeves of the Frostbite race shirt for an additional $500. Offer limited to two sponsors. Obviously.
RACE NAME Sponsor	To have the sponsor name incorporated into the race name: $5,000 . A Race Name Sponsor will also receive Gold Sponsor benefits and have priority to renew the arrangement for the following year.
